Elegant Marquee Wedding Celebrations

A Wedding Weekend at Crow Hill starts on the Friday, with yourselves and house guests arriving. Crow Hill can accommodate 29 guests overnight on the Estate. The Friday is a great time to start your Wedding Weekend at Crow Hill.

The Saturday is the Big Day! After the Ceremony, drinks and canapes can be served in the Grounds or in the Marquee drinks reception area. Photo opportunities are immense at Crow Hill in the beautiful gardens and grounds, or even on the Moors. Guests would then make their way through to Wedding Dining in the Marquee.

Our beautiful Wedding Marquee is perfect for a celebration from 40 up to 150 guests seated for Wedding Breakfast. The Marquee can be designed bespoke to you, with any colour scheme, decor items, seating plan, furniture, dance floor, bar, heating, lighting etc. Please see our Marquees page for more details.

The Evening Reception would flow on from the Wedding Breakfast with no interruptions. The Marquee can accommodate upto 170 guests in the evening. The bar is open for guests and there is a dance floor with the Marquee DJ. The sparkly lights in the Marquee look stunning in the evening as well as the twinkling lights outside in the grounds of Crow Hill. If the weather is warm, guests can mingle outside and have drinks under the China Hat which is the open sided Marquee.

Small and Intimate Weddings at Crow Hill

Crow Hill can be booked for 2 guests or up to 40 guests in the Main House for a smaller, intimate Wedding celebration. If your idea of the perfect Wedding is a small intimate gathering of your close family and friends, then Crow Hill is the perfect setting.

Licenced for Civil Ceremonies, Crow Hill has three rooms to chose from. The Drawing Room, with a lovely large bay window overlooking the grounds and formal lawn, for up to 40 guests. The Red Dining Room, which is a smaller intimate room with seating for up to 30 guests and has a stunning fireplace, large window overlooking the grounds and formal lawn. The Conservatory, which can seat up to 20 guests and has stunning views up to the National Trust Marsden Moor Estate. The original Victorian conservatory leads onto the walled Victorian gardens, ideal in the summer months.

For a Drinks Reception in Crow Hill, guests can be mingling between The Conservatory, The Red Dining Room and the walled Victorian Gardens. Also, the Formal Lawn at the front of Crow Hill is perfect for drinks receptions. Our China Hat open sided marquee is also available, please see the Marquee section.

The Drawing Room is perfect for Wedding Dining with the beautiful Victorian ornate ceiling and the stunning crystal chandelier, and can seat up to 40 guests for wedding dining, the perfect setting for an intimate wedding breakfast. The Drawing Room also has a large Open Fire which is stunning when lit in the winter months. In the evening, Crow Hill is a "house party" style of event, with guests mingling and chatting with bar service and entertainment that has been popular during the evening has included Juke Boxes, Casino Tables, Magician, Singers, etc.
